ABOUT THE ROLE:
The center coordinator will be a pivotal member who shall upkeep the center through proper

management of the learning program as well as maintaining various documents and stakeholder

relations. The center coordinator shall ensure smooth planning and implementation of the syllabus

with the team of volunteers and assist the volunteers, center head, and zonal team wherever

needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CENTER COORDINATOR:
1. Daily Centre Updates: The person must share a daily center update using the center diary on

WhatsApp Groups as directed by the zonal team and mark the daily attendance of the

students in the attendance register.

2. Preparation of Syllabus Plan: Centre coordinator shall plan monthly syllabus targets, daily

lesson plans, and weekly progress of the syllabus.

3. Preparation for tests: The center coordinator shall plan and schedule test as per the calendar

and prepare test papers in consultation with the respective teachers and print the same for

the test.

4. Preparation of Student’s Performance Report: Student’s Performance report (SPR) has to be

prepared each month covering the academic and extra-academic attributes of each student.

5. Monthly center report: The center coordinator shall compile and prepare the center monthly

report by the end of each month and share it with the center head and zonal team.

6. Stock and Asset Management: The center coordinator shall keep a note of all the stock in the

stock register and assets in the asset register. S/he shall maintain the requisition and issue

vouchers and share regular requirements of the center as and when needed.

7. Conducting monthly activities: The center coordinator along with all the volunteers and

center head shall plan and implement the monthly activities at the center like Balsabha, Parent-teacher meetings, and extra-academic activities as per the monthly calendar every

month.

8. Attending Meetings: The center coordinator is required to attend Monthly Volunteer

meetings, Monthly Centre Coordinator’s Meetings, and syllabus planning meetings each

month.

9. Enrolment and Surveys: As the need arises, the center coordinator shall visit the localities

where students live and conduct a survey based on the purpose of the visit. In addition to

that, the center coordinator shall undertake the admission process twice a year.

10. Home Visit: The center coordinator must visit the homes of the students twice a month to

take updates about the welfare of the family and maintain cordial relations with the students

and their families. Any issue arising with the child (disciplinary or academic) can be

addressed to the parents during the home visit. The parents must be encouraged to visit the

centers.

11. School Visit: The center coordinator must pay a monthly visit to the schools of the students to

take updates about their behavior and performances and shall bridge the gap in case of any

accessibility issues.

12. The center coordinator shall work and act on behalf of the Center Head and Zonal team and

shall ensure the successful completion of any task assigned by them within the defined time

frame.

TIME COMMITMENT:
This is a part-time role with a time commitment of 3 to 4 hours on a daily basis.

STIPEND:
The monthly remuneration will be Rs. 2000- Rs. 4000 based on the qualification and experience.

LEAVE ENTITLEMENT:
The person will be entitled to 1 sick leave and casual leave each month on a pro-rata basis,

exceeding which, salary shall be deducted.

**Salary**: ₹2,000.00 - ₹4,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week
