**Job Summary**:The eCommerce Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products. This role involves leadership, coordination, and strategic management to meet performance targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Team Leadership**:Directly supervise warehouse staff, including training and performance evaluations.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to enhance productivity and motivation.
**Inventory Management**:Oversee the receiving process, ensuring accuracy and quality checks.
Manage stock placement and optimize warehouse space for efficient storage.
Implement and enforce inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.
**Order Fulfillment**:Supervise the order picking and packing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with other departments to prioritize and fulfill customer orders.
**Quality Control**:Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
Develop and manage processes for handling product returns and exchanges.
**Technology and Systems**:Oversee the use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other technology tools.
Ensure proper training of warehouse staff on technology and systems.
**Safety and Compliance**:Ensure the warehouse complies with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
Develop and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
**Performance Metrics**:Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
**Communication**:Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and customer service departments for seamless operations.
Provide regular reports to management on warehouse performance and issues.
**Problem Solving**:Address and resolve issues or challenges that may arise during warehouse operations.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
**Customer Focus**:Ensure timely processing and shipment of orders to meet customer expectations.
Collaborate with customer service teams to address inquiries and concerns related to warehouse operations.
**Budget Management**:Work within budget constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising efficiency.
Provide input for budget planning related to warehouse operations.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management in an eCommerce environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other technology tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic eCommerce environment.
