Hostel Warden

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safety and security of students residing in the hostel at all times.
- Supervise and monitor student activities within the hostel premises, including meal times, study hours, and recreational activities.
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations to maintain discipline and order among students.
- Address any behavioral issues or conflicts among students in a fair and impartial manner.
- Provide guidance, counseling, and support to students as needed, serving as a mentor and role model.
- Coordinate with school administration, faculty, and support staff to address any concerns or issues related to hostel residents.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, health records, and any incidents or emergencies that occur within the hostel.
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel facilities to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage hostel logistics, including room assignments, maintenance requests, and inventory management.
- Facilitate communication between students, parents, and school authorities regarding hostel-related matters.
- Organize and oversee hostel activities, events, and outings to promote socialization and community building among students.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to hostel management and student welfare.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. A background in psychology or child development is advantageous.
- Prior experience working in a hostel or residential facility, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine concern for the well-being of students.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or emergency situations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Palia Kalan, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
