Job Title: Electrician

Job Summary:
As an electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings such as residential. Your duties will involve interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting electrical problems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

**Responsibilities**:
Install and maintain electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and fixtures.

Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects.

Diagnose and repair electrical problems using testing devices and hand tools.

Follow national and local electrical codes to ensure safety and compliance.

Collaborate with construction teams to plan electrical installations for new buildings or renovations.

Provide estimates for electrical projects and procure necessary materials.

Respond to emergency calls for electrical repairs and resolve issues promptly.

Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology and industry best practices.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as an electrician or completion of an apprenticeship program.

Valid electrician license or certification (depending on local regulations).

Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Physical stamina and agility to work in various environments and conditions.

Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree or vocational training in electrical systems.

Prior experience working in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Knowledge of renewable energy systems such as solar or wind power.

Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Ongoing professional development through continuing education or certifications.

Work Environment:
Electricians may work indoors or outdoors, depending on the project requirements. They may encounter hazards such as electrical shocks, falls, or burns, so adherence to safety protocols is essential. Work schedules can vary and may include evenings, weekends, or overtime to accommodate project deadlines or emergency repairs.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
