General Dentist

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Diagnosis and Treatment**:Perform comprehensive dental examinations to assess patients' oral health and identify dental conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, considering factors such as oral hygiene, medical history, and preferences.
Provide a wide range of dental treatments, including restorative, cosmetic, preventive, and basic oral surgery procedures.

**Restorative Dentistry**:Perform fillings, crowns, bridges, and other restorative procedures to repair damaged or decayed teeth.
Address tooth fractures, cracks, and other structural issues to restore optimal oral functionality.

**Preventive Care**:Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.

**Cosmetic Dentistry**:Offer cosmetic dental treatments, such as teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding, to enhance patients' smiles and boost their confidence.

**Orthodontic Evaluations**:Assess and recommend orthodontic treatments for patients who require teeth alignment corrections.
Collaborate with orthodontists to coordinate comprehensive orthodontic care.

**Emergency Care**:Provide immediate dental care for patients experiencing dental emergencies, such as toothaches, fractures, and infections.

**Patient Communication**:Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and anticipated outcomes clearly and compassionately to patients.
Address patients' concerns, questions, and anxieties about dental procedures.

**Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes.

**Collaboration**:Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

**Continuing Education**:Stay updated with advancements in dental techniques, technologies, and industry trends through continuous education and professional development.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- BDS degree from an accredited dental college with 1+ year of experience.
- State dental license and required certifications to practice dentistry.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in performing a variety of dental procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
- Empathy and compassion in dealing with patients' dental anxieties and concerns.
- Attention to detail and high standards of infection control and safety.
- Proficiency in using dental software and technology for patient records and treatment planning.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of dentistry.
