Calling all: Senior Database Engineer / Database Architect / Database Administrator

This is a fantastic long-term position for a MongoDB expert, you will work with some of the cleverest people in UK London.

You will be very good with database setup in NoSQL, using MongoDB, and all its tools such as Atlas, for the BackEnd code of websites.

**Remote - Home based working** so you must have own large screen and a good computer / laptop and good power and good internet connection. we will check this initial at interview stage, please be in a good place for an interview.

**Degree qualification with a few years work experience.**

**Salary** -20,000 to 70,000 a month INR - dependant upon Skills & IT equipment.

**Working hours** is to be strictly enforced, will be 13:00 to 20:00 India time - 5 days a week, Monday to Friday - overtime paid extra.

**Skills & Experiences**:
**1. Core MongoDB Skills**
- Database Design: Ability to design and implement efficient and scalable MongoDB schemas.
- CRUD Operations: Proficiency in creating, reading, updating, and deleting data in MongoDB.
- Indexing: Knowledge of how to create and manage indexes for query optimization.
- Aggregation Framework: Ability to use MongoDB's aggregation framework for data transformation and computation.
- Replication & Sharding: Understanding of MongoDB's replication and sharding mechanisms for high availability and horizontal scaling.
- Backup and Recovery: Skills in backing up MongoDB instances and restoring data when necessary.

**2. Performance Tuning**
- Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance using tools like MongoDB Atlas or Ops Manager.
- Familiarity with MongoDB's 'explain' method to analyze query performance.

**3. Security**
- Knowledge of MongoDB's security features, including authentication, authorization, and encryption (both in-transit and at-rest).
- Familiarity with best practices for securing MongoDB instances.

**4. Tools & Integrations**
- Experience with MongoDB management tools like MongoDB Atlas, Compass, and Ops Manager.
- Integration of MongoDB with other systems and platforms, using connectors or APIs.

**5. Development Skills**
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, especially those commonly used with MongoDB (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
- Familiarity with MongoDB drivers and Object-Document Mapping (ODM) libraries like Mongoose for Node.js.

**6. Deployment & Operations**
- Experience deploying MongoDB in various environments, including on-premises, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and hybrid setups.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, especially if MongoDB is deployed in such environments.

**7. Continuous Learning**
- Given the rapid evolution of database technologies, a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest MongoDB features and best practices is crucial.

**8. Soft Skills**
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot database issues.
- Communication: Ability to collaborate with developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring data integrity and consistency.

**9. Certifications**
