- To be successful in this position you need to be a team player and have an analytic mindset of a true problem solver.- As Wiring Harness Engineer, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to Develop/Routing the Harness and Bundle Harness for engine and deliver the sustainable product.**Role Description**:

- Have Operational responsibility for Routing the Harness, Bundle Harness and Schematics preparations.
- Should be able to work individually and/or with a small team actively to secure the deliverables.
- Design for Assembly and serviceability in close co-operations with After Market and Operations.
- Integrate deliveries from cross-functions and secure quality and readiness before releases.
- Ensure the deliveries are met as per the set requirements and timelines.
- Frequent interactions with counterparts, clarify the requirements and deliver accordingly.
- Develop and implement wiring installation projects within the area of assignment including related routing and clipping solutions.
- Communicate relevant design and project requirements to external design counterpart as applicable if the detailed design is performed by an outside entity.
- Ensures design correctness and completeness for all PE & wiring installation releases within the area of responsibility.

**Rwquired Education : BE/ BTech in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field.**

**Experience, Skills, Training**:

- 6+ years of Automotive experience preferably in the Truck Powertrain industry.
- Proficient knowledge in Electrical Architecture and Schematics.
- Hands-on experience in the Creo, Saber or Creo Schematics and PDM tool.
- Strong in Engineering fundamentals and excellent knowledge of electrical components.
- Good knowledge of the materials and material selection.
- Good knowledge about the Truck layout and packaging of the components.
- Knowledge of product development cycle and quality tools such as SFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFMEA, RCA etc.
- Knowledge in the design and development of sheet metal brackets and Creo piping is added advantage.
- Knowledge in mechatronics is an added advantage.
