**Job Title**: Billing Engineer (Civil/Mechanical Works)

**Job Timings**: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday to Sunday)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Billing & Cost Management**:

- Prepare, review, and process bills related to civil and mechanical works for various ongoing projects within the oil and gas sector.
- Ensure all bills are accurate, compliant with contractual terms, and reflect the actual work completed.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to verify measurements, quantities, and work done on-site.
- Generate and submit billing documents, including interim and final bills.
- Track project costs, including labor, material, and overheads, and compare them with budgeted amounts.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain proper documentation of all billing-related activities, including contracts, work orders, change orders, and payment schedules.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on billing status, cost overruns, and work progress.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between the project team, contractors, and clients regarding billing issues.
- **Site Visits & Verification**:

- Conduct periodic site visits to verify the progress of civil and mechanical works and ensure alignment with billing requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate measurements and documentation of completed work.
- **Coordination & Communication**:

- Communicate with project teams, contractors, and clients regarding billing-related matters and resolve issues or queries efficiently.
- Ensure timely submission of invoices to clients, including compliance with contractual timelines.
- **Compliance & Standards**:

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, contractual obligations, and government regulations in the billing process.
- Identify opportunities for improving billing processes and reduce delays in payment processing.
- **Software & Tools**:

- Utilize billing software and spreadsheets for tracking and managing billing records.
- Implement the use of project management tools to integrate billing data with project progress and milestones.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in billing, cost control, or project management, preferably in the oil and gas, construction, or infrastructure industry.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of civil and mechanical works, especially in the oil and gas sector.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with billing and project management software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems).
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to accurately prepare and verify bills and documents.
- **Problem Solving**: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
