**a.** **Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for guest delight through timely delivery of food with exceptional taste, presentation, and quality while controlling food costs.
- Interacts with the guests to obtain feedback on food quality, presentation, and service levels.
- Heads the F&B department at the property & trains, develops, motivates, and monitors the performance of culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards on a consistent basis.Also able to hire F&B staff through his sources.
- Ensure the consistency in the food preparation methods & standards is maintained.
- Teaches preparation according to well-defined recipes and follows up and discusses ways of constantly improving the cuisine at the property.
- Provide direction for all day-to-day operations in the kitchen. Also assists kitchen staff with food prep and recipe creation
- Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence or determine appropriate replacements to fill gaps.
- Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
- Ensures all equipment in the kitchen is properly maintained and in working order in accordance with FSSAI & hotel standards.
- Ensures the inventory of the required ingredients is adequately and properly maintained and coordinates with the stores/purchase department for getting the supplies with correct standards.
- Able to develop the menu, does costing and pricing.
- Has experience in managing the entire Kitchen team.

**Preferred Education**
Bachelor's degree in the culinary arts is preferred
