**Roles and responsibilities**

- **Policy Advocacy**: In some cases, social workers advocate for changes in policy that will benefit a larger population

3. **Case Management**:

- **Coordinating Services**: Social workers coordinate services for clients, such as health care, housing, education, and employment support.
- **Monitoring Progress**: They track clients’ progress and adjust plans as needed to help them achieve their goals.

4. **Counseling and Support**:

- **Providing Emotional Support**: Social workers offer counseling and support to clients dealing with issues like poverty, abuse, addiction, and mental health challenges.
- **Crisis Intervention**: They may intervene in crises to provide immediate assistance and support to clients in urgent situations.

5. **Education and Outreach**:
