Job Summary:
As a Chef de Partie (CDP) in the Continental department, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality continental dishes. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and quality in every dish served.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared according to recipes and standards.
- **Menu Development**: Assist in the creation and development of new menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards before they are served to guests.
- **Kitchen Management**: Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring proper storage and handling of food items.
- **Health and Safety**: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, sanitation practices, and workplace safety protocols.
