**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage accounting duties for various company projects. The role requires experience with QuickBooks or Xero and involves processing payments, handling invoices, managing reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounting Duties**: Handle various accounting tasks across company projects.
- **Software Experience**: Utilize QuickBooks or Xero for managing financial data.
- **Data Entry**: Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts; enter data into accounting software.
- **Bills Processing**: Manage and process company bills.
- **Reconciliations**: Perform regular reconciliations of financial records.
- **Financial Statements**: Prepare profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
- **Expense Management**: Oversee employee expense claims and payments.
- **Credit Control**: Monitor and manage credit control activities.
- **VAT Reports**: Prepare quarterly VAT reports.
- **Client & Supplier Liaison**: Communicate with clients and suppliers as needed.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Handle filing, posting, and other administrative duties related to accounting.
- **Reporting**: Assist and report directly to the Finance Director.
- **IT Systems**: Use Excel and in-house IT systems for various accounting functions.

**Key Skills**:

- **Accounting Software**: Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero.
- **Reconciliation**: Experience with financial reconciliations.
- **Financial Reporting**: Ability to prepare detailed financial statements.
- **Communication**: Excellent at interacting with clients and suppliers effectively.
- **Administrative**: Efficient in handling filing and regular admin tasks.
- **IT Proficiency**: Skilled in Excel and familiar with in-house IT systems.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years in accounting roles.
- **Education**: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
