**Job Overview**: As a Medical Transcriptionist at HCG Hospital, you will be responsible for transcribing medical reports and patient records dictated by healthcare providers. Your role will involve converting voice recordings into written text, ensuring accuracy and maintaining confidentiality. You will play a vital role in the clinical documentation process, supporting medical professionals in delivering effective patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Transcribe voice recordings of medical reports, patient histories, physical exams, and other healthcare-related documents as dictated by physicians or healthcare providers.
- Ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and completeness of transcribed reports.
- Edit and proofread transcribed documents for grammatical and medical accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and hospital guidelines.
- Coordinate with medical professionals and administrative staff for clarification of unclear terms or patient information.
- Review transcriptions for errors and make necessary corrections.
- Manage and organize files and records in accordance with hospital procedures.
- Stay updated with medical terminology, new procedures, and the latest transcription tools.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure prompt and accurate document processing.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Medical Transcription or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
- Good knowledge of medical transcription software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Certification in Medical Transcription (e.g., AHDI, CMT, or RMT) is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
