Job Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a printing environment, with specific experience in cylinder preparation and maintenance.
- Diploma or equivalent certification in printing technology.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining cylinder preparation equipment such as engraving machines, polishers, and proofing presses.
- Strong understanding of cylinder engraving techniques, including image preparation, plate mounting, and proofing.
- Knowledge of various printing substrates and their compatibility with different cylinder types.
- Familiarity with color management principles and ink compatibility for different printing processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cylinder quality, registration, and performance.
- Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a printing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate cylinder inventory management.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with other departments and ensure smooth workflow.

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of cylinder preparation, including engraving, polishing, and proofing, to ensure high-quality printing results.
- Schedule and prioritize cylinder preparation tasks based on production requirements and deadlines.
- Train and supervise cylinder preparation staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the production team to coordinate cylinder changes and ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor cylinder inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replacement or repair of cylinders as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cylinder quality, registration, or performance during production runs.
- Maintain accurate records of cylinder inventory, maintenance activities, and production usage.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in cylinder preparation techniques and equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity in the cylinder preparation process.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to address any issues or concerns related to cylinder quality or performance.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
