**Mainframe Tester**

5+ years of experience in Mainframe testing

**Role & Responsibility**
- At least 5 years of Strong Knowledge in testing using JCL, DB2, VSAM, COBOL and SQL Mainframe TSO, Quality Centre, test script and test planning experience required.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable mainframe codes by setting expectations and features priorities.
- Experience with mainframe DB2 testing.
- SQL/relational database testing Experience and DB2 tools like SPUFI, PLA.
- Experience in System software Testing, Planning and coordinating Test activities, Test case development, and Test Execution and Defect resolution.
- Work with the development team and business analysts throughout the testing life cycle to ensure the product meets the business requirements.
- End to end testing capabilities with the whole system.
- Provides regular status updates to Test Lead or Project Manager including any known issues or test concerns.

**Requirement**:

- Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills
- Good understanding of the technology and domain
- Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles and modelling methods
- Awareness of latest technologies and trends
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
