**Position Overview**:
As a **Captain,** you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests receive exemplary service and have a memorable dining experience. You will oversee the service team, coordinate with kitchen staff, and attend to the needs of our guests with professionalism and courtesy.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Guest Service**:
- Welcome guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Provide menu recommendations and assist guests in making informed dining choices.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar promptly.
**Team Management**:
- Supervise and train waitstaff to ensure they deliver high-quality service.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to waitstaff and ensure they are carried out efficiently.
- Motivate and inspire team members to uphold service standards and exceed guest expectations.
**Order Coordination**:
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Monitor the progress of orders and address any delays or issues proactively.
- Ensure that food and beverages are presented attractively and in accordance with restaurant standards.
**Guest Satisfaction**:
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to their requests or concerns.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Solicit feedback from guests and use it to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
**Upselling and Revenue Generation**:
- Promote specials, seasonal dishes, and beverage offerings to increase sales and enhance guest experience.
- Encourage guests to try additional menu items and suggest wine pairings or upgrades.
- Maximize revenue through effective upselling techniques while maintaining guest satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a fine-dining restaurant or upscale hospitality establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
**Salary**: Up to ₹17,000.00 per month
