**Organization Profile**:
Rising Star Outreach of India started in 2004 to work for the upliftment of Persons Affected by Leprosy. RSOI provides 3 major activities for the People Affected by Leprosy, they are 1. Education, 2. Medical and 3. Colony Development Activities.

Residential School started for giving education to the children of Persons affected by Leprosy. From 1st Standard to 12th Standard, we have 300 plus students staying in our Residential School. We provide free quality Education, food, and accommodation for Children from a background of leprosy

- **Roles & Responsibilities**_

1. The Leprosy Inspector accompanies the Medical Team during the colony visits and distributes the Pamphlets door to door to create awareness regarding Leprosy.

2. If any suspected cases are found during the visit, bring them to the knowledge of the Medical Officer and direct the patients to go to CLTRI for confirmation measures for the diagnosis.

3. Leprosy Inspector has to maintain a proper database of the leprosy-affected persons and regularly follow up with the patients for the completion of treatment and any other challenges faced by them.

4. The leprosy inspector has to travel alone to the field visits from the Instruction of the Medical Officer to survey the area as per the request received from the field.

5. Leprosy Inspector has to coordinate and cooperate with the Medical team in delivering medical care on campus and outside.

6. Awareness Programs - In Campus, the Leprosy Inspector has to create awareness programs among students & Staff

7. Shall create awareness & preventive measures about leprosy in nearby schools and the public.

8. Shall assist in tracing contacts of leprosy and in tracing treatment defaulters.

9. Health Education: Conduct Health Education Activities in the colonies

**Required Skills**:
Education Qualification - B.Sc.,**(Microbiology, Biology, Pathology, Lab Technician) and Leprosy Training, Health Inspector Training)**

**Experience**:
Fresher’s (Nursing) or Experience as Leprosy Inspector (or) Health Inspector.

Willing to work with People Affected by Leprosy and Children from the Leprosy background

Willing to Travel with medical unit

**Language**:

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
