Robotics Trainer

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging robotics curriculum for students of all ages, from elementary to high school levels.
- Lead hands-on robotics workshops, classes, and camps, both in-person and online.
- Provide instruction on programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Mentor and support students as they design, build, and program robots for various challenges and competitions.
- Demonstrate the use of robotics kits, tools, and software platforms, and provide guidance on troubleshooting and debugging.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
- Stay current with advancements in robotics technology and educational best practices, and incorporate relevant updates into curriculum and instruction.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to promote robotics education and expand program offerings.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth and development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of STEM education initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related field such as Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Education. Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong background in robotics, including experience with robot design, construction, and programming.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Experience working with students in educational settings, preferably in STEM or robotics programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages.
- Enthusiasm for STEM education and a passion for inspiring the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Experience with robotics competition platforms such as FIRST Robotics, VEX Robotics, or RoboCup is a plus.
- Background check and/or teaching certification may be required depending on the employer and location.
