**Responsibilities**:
**Market Research**:Conduct thorough market research to identify potential generic medicine distributors.
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact the pharmaceutical procurement landscape.

**Supplier Identification and Evaluation**:Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on criteria such as product quality, pricing, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Establish and maintain a database of approved generic medicine distributors.

**Negotiation and Contracting**:Negotiate favorable terms, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules, with selected distributors.
Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to draft and finalize contracts with approved suppliers.

**Quality Assurance**:Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all generic medicines meet regulatory standards and quality specifications.
Conduct periodic audits of distributors to verify compliance with contractual agreements.

**Collaboration with Internal Teams**:Coordinate with pharmacy, inventory management, and other relevant departments to understand current and future medication needs.
Provide input to the procurement strategy based on the organization's goals and budget constraints.

**Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier contracts, negotiations, and performance metrics.
Generate regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
State pharmacy licensure.

**Experience**:Proven experience in pharmaceutical procurement or a related field.
Knowledge of generic medications is mandatory.

**Skills**:Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

**Team Collaboration**:Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Effective interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.

**Adaptability**:Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory environments.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
