Enabling the Commercial Business and Biopharma Operations to manage risk and ensure quality is the purpose of Pfizer’s Biopharma Quality (BQ) organization. This purpose accompanies a bold aspiration, to set the industry standard in commercial quality and be the third pillar of Quality for Pfizer.

The BQ organization provide Quality Consulting and Quality Oversight to over 20,000 commercial colleagues across pharmacovigilance, data privacy and promotional practices, this includes:

- Effective management of current and emerging commercial compliance risk
- Operationalizing global policies and procedures related to commercial quality
- Monitoring quality across commercial activities and ensuring audit & inspection readiness
- Identification and management of quality events
- Establishing an integrated approach for quality improvement & optimized customer quality experience

ROLE SUMMARY

The BQ Operations Co-Ordinator is accountable for flawless execution and co-ordination of processes enabling BQ to implement commercial quality across Pfizer’s biopharmaceuticals business.

This role will support a diverse team of colleagues, contractors and vendors to deliver high quality outputs that are essential in enabling BQ success; spanning:

- System Development and administration
- Reporting
- Request Fulfilment
- Desktop Procedure maintenance
- Process Optimization identification
- Training activity maintenance
- Communication
- Change Management
- Audit & Inspection Support

This role is expected to utilize simple and complex tools and systems to execute on service requests, scheduled tasks and provide valuable insights towards automation and process improvement opportunities across BQ.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountable for:
BQ Systems, Learning and User Experience Administration:

- Understand and fulfil Service Requests via SRT for Systems, Learning and User Experience administrative activities within agreed SLA’s
- Perform scheduled administrative, co-ordination and operational tasks as agreed within the BQ Operations & Centralized Delivery Team
- Support Centralized Delivery Team BQ Leads as needed for operational activities, where possible take-over uplifted, standardised operational processes for Centralized Delivery Team.
- Complete Ad-hoc operational tasks at the request of the Systems and Learning Leads
- Maintain BQ Service Request Tool Queues and colleague mapping for efficient service fulfilment

Process Improvement and Automation:

- Pro-actively identify opportunities for automation and process improvement both within Operations and across BQ
- Create simple automated solutions through Power Automate for day to day transactional activities
- Support any process improvement projects which impact daily operations within BQ
- Trouble-shoot and solve for process solutions
- Communicate and advocate for user-experience enhancements and efficiencies

Reporting and Insights:

- Ensure standardized approach to track and report on BQ Operations activities
- Run and distribute standardized reports as agreed with the relevant Ops Leads
- Create ad-hoc reports as required to support projects and other key initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred Discipline(s): Business, Computer Science
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with SharePoint Systems
- Experience with a Service Request and Fulfilment Tool/Process
- Proficient in common technical tools (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Global, Regional and Local operating experience
- Basic Desktop Procedure/Work Instruction experience
- Fluent in English language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems, Databases, Inventories and SharePoint sites
- Proficiency in common technical tools, information architecture and complex database management
- Proven ability to understand requirements and impacts from both technical and business perspectives
- Ability to understand complex processes and comply with detailed technical directions
- Experience in Biopharma Quality, or related services and scope
- Experience in commercial operations and/or sales & marketing
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize and work independently to complete quality work on a timely basis

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Given the global nature of the role, limited international travel and working outside of normal work times will be required.
