Cardiac Technician

As a Cardiac Technician in a diabetes center, your role is pivotal in providing specialized cardiac care to patients with diabetes who are at higher risk of cardiovascular complications. Your job description may include the following responsibilities:
1. **Cardiac Testing and Monitoring**: Perform various cardiac tests and procedures, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress tests, echocardiograms, and Holter monitoring, to assess and monitor cardiac function in diabetic patients.

2. **Knowledge of Cardiac Conditions**: Have a thorough understanding of common cardiac conditions and complications associated with diabetes, such as coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and diabetic cardiomyopathy.

3. **Risk Assessment**: Conduct risk assessments and screenings for cardiovascular disease in diabetic patients, considering their unique risk factors and medical history.

4. **Collaboration with Healthcare Team**: Work closely with cardiologists, endocrinologists, and other healthcare providers in the diabetes center to coordinate cardiac care and treatment plans for patients with diabetes.

5. **Patient Education**: Educate patients with diabetes on maintaining heart health, managing risk factors, and adhering to prescribed cardiac medications and lifestyle modifications.

6. **Medical Equipment Operation**: Operate and maintain cardiac testing equipment and ensure accurate and reliable results for diagnostic purposes.
