Job Role &Responsibilities:
Monitoring the Cell Site Utilization and ensuring the maintenance of optimum levels as desired by the client.
Check 3G parameters like as RSCP,Ec/Eo,PSC,HSDPA,HSUPA, HARQ, PEAK RSCP, PEAK Ec/Eo,RLCP THROUGHPUT During SCFT and Cluster Drive test.
TCH Assignment Success Rate, etc. in order to ensure a congestion free network.
Checking GSM related parameters, analyzing interference, Call Drops, Handover failures, E1 issues, Interference(Co & Adjacent BCCH or External), Neighbors creation and deletion, Channel reselections, Rx Quality, SQI, Rx level etc.
Generating Rx Level & Quality etc. Plots using MapInfo.

Physical Optimization of Cells by Changing Antenna Orientation, Mechanical & Electrical tilts, Height as required. Checking Hardware issue like Sector Swap, Cable Swap, Detecting Faulty Hardware, finding & removing BTS related faults, VSWR etc.
New Site Optimization by doing drive test & Changing Antenna Orientation & tilt according to the clutter & traffic.
Handling & Resolving Customer Complaints.
