We are Hiring for a well known MNC Company that has operations that touch every aspect of agriculture including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertiliser manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development and distribution.
**Role Summary**
This role will assist the company to identify risk areas and sustainable planning opportunities for direct taxes throughout the tax life cycle. This will involve devising and providing recommendations to address a wide range of issues and problems and helping to meet the compliance obligations and business goals around the company.
This role will assist the Manager in handling the engagements related to Income Taxes and other direct Tax Laws, Appeals, Tax Restructuring, Tax Advisory and consulting pertaining to Direct Tax and other government regulatory requirement. This will also involve dealing with direct Tax Compliance
**Role Overview**
**Position: Direct Taxes Executive**
1. Reporting to - Finance & Accounts Manager
- Corporate
2. Location - Delhi NCR
3. Direct reportees - Nil (its Individual contributor role)
1. Should have Degree - Chartered Accountant (ICAI- CA )
2. Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience
3. Should have excellent communication skill i.e writing, presentation, verbal communication.
4. Must have Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, data processing, report tools etc.
5. Collaborative approach with various functional area.
6. Integrity - maintains high level of confidentiality and transparent reporting with manager.
- Excellent knowledge of Indirect tax Laws, compliances and regulatory matters required under Company Laws
- Excellent Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards
- Keeps up to date knowledge on the different laws.
**Key Responsibilities (Not limited to)**
**DIRECT TAX COMPLIANCE**:
1. Responsible for timely and accurately calculating Direct Tax liability and filing of Quarterly Tax Deducted at Source & Tax Collected at Source form.
2. Responsible for timely and accurately preparation and filling of Income Tax Return, CyBc Reporting, Form 3CEB etc.
3. Responsible for timely and accurate calculation of Advance Tax liability.
4. Responsible to handle tax litigation and replying to various Notices, co-ordination with local and regional finance operation team for various tax related queries for the companies.
5. Responsible for the analysis & Interpretation of Provisions under the Direct Tax, Banking Regulation, and other government regulatory authority.
6. To coordination with the department for obtaining approvals, registrations, etc.
**INSURANCE**:
1. To assist for timely renewal of Insurance Policies in accordance with the company policies such as:
a. Corporate General Liability
b. Directors & Office Liability
c. STOP (Sales Turnover) Policy
d. Loss of Profit/ Business Interruption Insurance
e. Property Insurance
f. Product Liability Insurance
**OTHER ASSISTANCE TO THE MANAGER IN THE COMPLIANCE OF**:
1. Accounting and financial reporting for all verticals.
2. Implement and monitor internal controls.
3. Benchmark for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments
4. Financial Planning & Budgeting
a) To meet and deliver business objectives as per Annual Operating Plan, implementing Plans, Systems, Policies & Procedures to facilitate Internal Financial Control.
b) Implementing effective costing systems for determining costs at various stages, monitoring various overheads, and achieving optimum cost control.
c) To assist in formulating budgets, conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
d) Investigating, reviewing, and analysing accounting flow, controls and procedures highlighting problem areas and recommend improvements.
e) Shouldering responsibility of implementing accounting systems & procedures; supervising timely preparation of statutory books of accounts and finalisation of accounts.
f) Physical Inventory and/ or cycle counts encompassing all stock.
g) Fixed asset management process including physical verification and ensuring timely capitalisation.
h) Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits; evaluating internal control systems/ procedures to highlight shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations and preparation of financial statements as per IFRS and IGAAP as applicable.
**OTHER GENERAL DUTIES**:
1. To prepare and provide various reports and submit to the Leadership team/reporting manager as per SOP.
2. Responsible for overall record keeping for future reference and audits.
3. To attend required company meetings and participate in constructive & productive discussion.
4. To be capable & to participate as a principal auditee during the audits by the company
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
