Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers in documenting patient encounters, procedures, and medical histories
- Accurately transcribe medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation
- Review and edit medical documents for errors or inconsistencies
- Organize and manage medical records in a systematic manner

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, particularly in the field of ophthalmology or emergency medicine
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
