**Job Description for Draughtsman / Draughtsperson**:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated architectural Draughtsperson to join their team.

You will be working closely with their **internal project teams** to prepare **detailed, accurate architectural and interior drawing sets** from rough sketches, drawings and 3D models.

You will be coordinating the **architectural and interior design intent with technical/engineering design prepared by external collaborators**.

Other responsibilities include **checking the accuracy of drawings **done by teammates and establishing **project documentation standards**.

Location**:Currently at Thane **/ Office **shifting to Walkeshwar Road in 2-3 months**

**Responsibilities include**:
**1. Drafting and design -**
- Generate detailed architectural and interior drawings, schedules, and specifications based on input from project teams.

**2. Documentation -**
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, schedules, specifications and revision logs, based on input from internal project teams.
- Organize and manage drawing files and lists to ensure version control and accessibility.

**3. Collaboration -**
- Work closely with internal project teams to understand project requirements, establish documentation standards and achieve efficient workflows.
- Collaborate with project team members to address design modifications and updates.

**4. Quality Control **
- Review and verify accuracy of own work and that of other team members to ensure adherence to design intent and documentation standards.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in drawings and communicate changes as necessary.

**5. Proficiency with technology -**
- Stay abreast of technological advancements in drafting and design tools.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge of CAD software and related technologies.

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**:

- Degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Proactive and enthusiastic individual with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly proficient with AutoCAD (2D)
- Proficient in MS Office - Excel and Word.
- Revit experience is a plus.
- Rhino 3D experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills - spoken and written
- Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Prior experience working on developer-led projects is a plus

Reporting to: Project team leader **Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 10:00 am to 7:00 pm with 1 hour lunch break**
