Dance Teacher

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Teacher to join our team and inspire students of all ages in the art of dance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and develop dance lesson plans that cater to different age groups and skill levels, aligning with the curriculum objectives.
- Teach and demonstrate dance techniques, styles, and choreography to students in a clear and engaging manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.
- Coordinate and organize dance performances, recitals, and showcases to provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and guardians, providing regular updates on progress and achievements.
- Ensure the safety of students during dance classes, rehearsals, and performances.
- Collaborate with other dance teachers and staff to coordinate schedules, events, and performances.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Dance Teacher, with expertise in various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, etc.
- Strong dance technique and performance skills, demonstrated through a dance portfolio or performance history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Ability to break down complex dance moves into easily understandable steps for students.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching dance to students of all ages.
- Ability to manage a classroom, maintain discipline, and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate class schedules and performances.
- Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required).
