**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct visual inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Use measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers) to perform dimensional inspections and ensure product accuracy.
- Perform functional and performance tests on products to assess functionality, reliability, and performance characteristics.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and quality issues in inspection reports and quality records.
- Communicate quality issues and deviations to appropriate personnel and collaborate with production teams to address and resolve issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to identify and eliminate quality problems.
- Maintain inspection equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Follow safety protocols, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements related to product inspection and quality control.
- Assist in training and mentoring new quality inspectors and production personnel on quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce defects, and improve overall product quality.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role, preferably in [specific industry].
- Knowledge of quality control methods, inspection techniques, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Familiarity with measurement tools and equipment used in quality inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and tests.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
