**_Scrum Master_**:

- is responsible for enacting change & continuous improvement to increase the productivity and quality of deliverables. By following developed Scrum methodologies, the Scrum Master will coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality, remove impediments to the team’s progress, facilitate scrum events, ensure team execution and delivery to committed sprint work._

Primary Responsibilities:

- Facilitate team creativity and improve effectiveness.
- Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in Agile methodology.
- Responsible for removing the impediments for the scrum team.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings and demos.
- Help product owner to keep the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint.
- Responsible for conducting retrospective meetings.
- Organizes and facilitates the sprint planning meeting.
- Acts as safeguard for your team.

As a Scrum Master you will be able to motivate your team. You will work closely with your agile team on a daily basis and will be responsible for conducting all Agile ceremonies. You will partner closely with the Product Owner and the Development Lead to refine the product backlog and ensure that definition of ready is met. You will work on removing the daily impediments and encourage the team to mature to the next level.

About You:
**_ Desired Experience and Qualifications & Attributes:_**
- Certified Scrum Master certification highly desired.
- Work experience as a Scrum Master is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum framework with the ability to coach teams on adoption
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like: Kanban, Crystal, FDD, XP, etc. preferred.
- Understands the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
- Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand your team needs.
- Basic Agile development methodologies such as: Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing.
- Ability to coach the team to understand their level of commitment and deliver a quality product on time.
- Understands the value of metrics and provide a deeper understanding of the team’s reports and metrics.
- Knowledge of task management tools such as JIRA for backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories, etc.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent additional experience) is preferred; equivalent work experience and demonstrated capability considered.
- Experience within SaaS or technology industry preferred.
- Utilizes persuasive and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess excellent analytical and negotiation skills critical to success.
- Builds a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised with transparency.
- Coaches and trains individuals and teams in Agile concepts and practices.
- Supports the agile transformation and lead through change management.
- Possesses a positive can-do attitude and is open to learning.
- Maintains the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality required.
- Establishes and maintains effective and collaborative relationships with all key functional areas.
- Has good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency, and soft-skills.
- Able to assess when to escalate issues.
- Demonstrates initiative, self-reliance and autonomy.
