**Job Title: Lifeguard**

**Location**: EuroSchool - HSR, Bangalore

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pool Supervision**: Monitor the swimming pool area and maintain constant surveillance of swimmers to ensure their safety and well-being.
- **Enforcement of Rules**: Enforce pool rules and regulations to promote a safe and orderly swimming environment, including proper use of equipment, adherence to diving and jumping rules, and appropriate behavior.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, accidents, or incidents in or around the pool area, providing first aid and lifesaving interventions as needed.
- **Risk Assessment**: Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, or maintenance issues, and take appropriate action to address them.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure that all lifesaving equipment, including rescue tubes, buoys, and first aid supplies, are readily available, properly maintained, and in good working condition.
- **Crowd Control**: Manage the flow of swimmers in and out of the pool area, maintain appropriate crowd control, and prevent overcrowding or unsafe behavior.
- **Communication**: Communicate effectively with pool users, staff, and administrators regarding safety procedures, emergency protocols, and other relevant information.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and emergency responses, and prepare reports as required by school administration or regulatory agencies.

**Qualifications**:

- Lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, Royal Life Saving Society).
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
- Previous experience working as a lifeguard in a school, recreation center, or similar environment preferred.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of water safety principles, rescue techniques, and emergency procedures.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment for all pool users.

**Salary**: From ₹24,000.00 per month
