Description- QualificationsApplicants must have a strong interest in applied research in developing countries and with Himalaya/mountain contexts, a willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams, and the ability to teach courses and guide students in Sustainability Studies at the Masters and PhD levels. The position has to provide highly specialized scientific expertise and technical skills to develop, interpret and make use of climate change evidence to support climate change policies, adaptation, adaptation decision making and strengthening resilience in multi-functional landscapes and people in the Himalayan region.
- ResponsibilitiesThe Fellow is expected to participate in long-term academic, policy and action oriented research programmes that address important issues in the Himalayan region. The Fellow will participate in Masters and PhD teaching, advising and short-term training programmes. The Fellow is expected to share institutional responsibilities and contribute to fund-raising.
