**Aufgaben**:

- MPR
- Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, India is seeking Electrical Engineers with a strong technical background in the Powertrain Electronics
- Education- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics

Experience- 4-6 years of experience in Electrical component development

Job Responsibilities- Component responsible for Powertrain Electrical Components
- Define and manage Product Component requirements
- Work with the supplier to fulfill component requirements and participate in supplier audits, interactions
- Interface & Coordination with vehicle cross functional departments to support component development and vehicle builds.
- Component Release management
- Tracking the necessary updates in the production databases with Logistics, Purchasing and other stakeholders
- Conduct component, system and vehicle level tests for functional validation of system
- Participate in review of Product Component Architecture / Design
- Analysis of Defects and propose solutions
- All time availability for aftersales/field issues support.
- Availability for travel for issue resolution across the globe
- Define Fail safe mechanisms
- Test functionality on HiL or vehicle
- Participate in D_FMEA, P-FMEA for the component development

Skills Required- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics
- 2-5 years of experience in automotive component development activities for electrical systems.
- Working experience in Sensors and Actuators HW design and development preferred.
- Good exposure to CAN communication based system
- Electrical Systems Knowhow and debugging skills
- Usage of tools - CANOE,CANAPE,INCA,Monaco etc
- Awareness of validation standards, technical knowhow of the components and Test case development
- Good exposure to EMI/EMC compliance requirements.
- Good exposure to release management tools like EPDM & Dialog.
- Requirements management using DOORS is preferred.

Preferred Skills:
- Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
- Knowledge on German language preferred.
- Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage.
