Position : PAEDIATRIC NUTRITIONIST

Position Overview:
The Nutritionist at HealthLand forms an essential part of the team.The nutritionist

would become an influencer and a champion for good nutrition at all times. A large

part of work as a paediatric nutritionist will depend on what children tell or actually

don’t tell.The nutritionist has to empathise with what the children and their parents

dietetics domain, coupled with a passion for children's well-being, to drive sales and

patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess the child's health needs and diet, complying with the guidelines outlined

by Global/Indian health regulatory authorities for paediatrics.

2. Conduct anthropometric examinations, such as measuring height, weight, and

BMI and assessing the child's nutritional status and

3. Provide dietary counselling for children with specific dietary restrictions,

allergies, or chronic conditions, such as diabetes or food allergies.

4. Develop diet plans for every child, involving the child and the family, based on

carefully analysing their medical condition and required growth and

development.

5. Maintain detailed records of your counsel for mapping success, monitoring and

evaluation

6. Conduct group counselling sessions, and parent support meets to help

caregivers cope with treatment conditions and inspire good food habits

7. Develop strategies and interventions for addressing childhood obesity and

promoting a healthy weight through nutrition and lifestyle changes.

8. Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers to help them establish

and maintain a healthy dietary environment for children.

Required Qualifications:

- Graduation/Post Graduation in M.Sc in Food and Nutrition
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of paediatric nutrition guidelines, growth charts, and nutritional

assessment tools.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness to provide care to a diverse paediatric

population.
- A genuine passion for improving the health and well-being of children through

proper nutrition.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in patient facing role at a diet counseling

clinic
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a dynamic team.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of paediatric healthcare services.
- Basic Computer operating knowledge
- Ability to use CRM tools for tracking leads and sales progress.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
