**Job Description**:
**Software Architect for Active Safety Projects**
- Evaluate product requirements in collaboration with product owners, technical leads and other stockholder.
- Conduct architecture review, design and solutions for multiple engineering teams and oversee code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, key stakeholders, and business groups to categorize and describe solutions for business and technical requirements.
- Develop and own architectural roadmap and ensure the product aligns with the business, clients and stakeholders’ strategies and requirement.
- Explain the status & value of proposed design/Solution to stakeholders.
- Analyze and articulate current technological solutions and proposed valued.
- Demonstrate leadership and excellent skills in evaluating alternatives and motivating the team in reaching optimal solutions
- Work with internal as well as external stakeholders to create short-term and long-term technology roadmap
- Create and maintain architecture documents and artefacts
- Hands-on contribution as and when required to solve complex issues
- Work closely with developers and QA to ensure the right solution is implemented
- Drive POCs for innovations, new features, integrations and feasibility studies
- Take initiatives to prepare for the future demands and technology direction.
- Have hands on coding in Embedded C, C++ or Model Based developments.

**Required Skills**:

- B.E/B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
- 9+Years of technical experience with 3+ Years of experience as Architect in product development.
- Extensive professional experience working as a software architect designing and architecting software solutions for large enterprises.
- Excellent Embedded systems Concepts in Automotive domain
- Strong SW Analysis, debugging and problem solving skills
- Ability to understand and take decision on technical proposals
- Good at understanding Logics/algorithms
- Strong at fundamentals of Physics.
- Automotive system knowledge (ECU, Sensors, Software) and technical mindset
- Good negotiating and convincing skills
- Embedded SW design and development experience
- Awareness of Hardware, Hardware & Software Interface, Software Development Models
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Knowledge on SW development life cycle
- Knowledge on Simulation process
- Good knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262
- Hands on experience in Model Based Development’s
- Experience in working with International /Inter-Cultural teams
- Hands on experience in Agile Methodology

**Added Advantage**:

- Working experience in Active Safety projects and Tools used
- Experience in using Change management and version management tools (like Rational ClearQuest, SVN, DOORS, Clear Case etc)

**Qualifications**:
B.E/B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering
