Position: ITI Fitter

Company: Manufacturing

Location: Pune (Pimpri / Chinchwad)

**Responsibilities**:
1. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand assembly requirements.

2. Assemble, install, and align machinery and equipment according to specifications.

3. Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

4. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

5. Inspect parts and components for defects or damage, and replace or repair as necessary.

6. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

8. Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production targets and deadlines.

9. Document maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work performed.

10. Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment, and requisition supplies as needed.

**Requirements**:
1. ITI certification in Fitter trade or equivalent qualification.

2. Proven experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

3. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

5. Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

6. Excellent attention to detail and precision.

7. Good communication and teamwork skills.

8. Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

9. Willingness to work in shifts and overtime as needed.

10. Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Additional certifications or training in relevant areas, such as welding or machining.

2. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

3. Diploma/ B.Tech in same field

4. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
