**Job Description: Purchase Officer - Facade Industry**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement Strategy**:Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify potential sourcing opportunities.
Collaborate with project teams to understand material requirements and specifications.

**Vendor Management**:Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers.
Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, quality products, and favorable terms.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve the best possible value for the organization.

**Procurement Process**:Plan and execute the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, monitor order status, and expedite deliveries when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

**Quality Control**:Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that materials meet required specifications and standards.
Address any issues related to the quality of purchased materials promptly and effectively.

**Cost Management**:Implement cost-effective sourcing strategies while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Review and approve invoices and payments related to procurement activities.

**Inventory Management**:Maintain optimal inventory levels to support project requirements without excessive overstock.
Monitor inventory turnover and take appropriate actions to reduce excess inventory.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with project timelines and specifications.

**Reporting**:Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including vendor performance, cost savings, and potential risks.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role within the facade industry or construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and sourcing strategies.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
