Description
- Minimum 2 year experience.
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using high-frequency sound waves to visualize internal organs, tissues, and blood flow patterns, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and imaging software to obtain high-quality images and recordings of anatomical structures and pathological abnormalities.
- Interpret ultrasound images, analyze findings, and generate accurate reports documenting examination results, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for further evaluation or treatment.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare providers to review patient history, clinical findings, and imaging studies, and provide timely and relevant information to guide patient management decisions.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures, including proper positioning, use of appropriate ultrasound techniques, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and accessories, perform quality assurance tests, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
- Educate patients and their families about ultrasound procedures, including the purpose, risks, benefits, and limitations of imaging studies, and address any questions or concerns they may have.
