**Overview**:
A Medical Representative is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), such as doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. The primary goal is to increase the company’s market share by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, educating them about the benefits of the company’s products, and driving sales growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales & Promotion**:

- Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (doctors, specialists, pharmacists, and hospitals).
- Achieve sales targets and performance objectives in a defined territory.
- Conduct product presentations, providing detailed information about the products, their benefits, and their clinical efficacy.
- Organize and participate in meetings, seminars, and conferences with healthcare providers to increase product awareness.
- **Relationship Building**:

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with doctors, medical staff, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and pharmacists.
- Serve as a point of contact for any product-related queries or concerns from healthcare professionals.
- Foster trust and credibility with healthcare providers to enhance brand loyalty.
- **Market Intelligence**:

- Collect and report information about competitor products, market trends, and customer needs to assist in the development of marketing strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and report findings to the sales and marketing teams.
- **Product Knowledge & Education**:

- Stay updated on product information, including new drug launches, clinical trials, and scientific developments.
- Train healthcare professionals on the correct use of products and address any clinical or safety concerns.
- Provide promotional materials and samples to doctors and medical staff.
- **Sales Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory management.
- Submit regular reports to management on sales activities, customer feedback, and market developments.
- **Territory Management**:

- Develop and manage a customer database in the assigned territory, focusing on high-potential customers.
- Optimize territory coverage and plan daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to maximize customer visits.
- Ensure timely follow-up with clients to nurture relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (a Medical or Pharmaceutical background is a plus).
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience as a medical representative or in a similar sales role in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to convey complex medical information in a simple and engaging manner.
- **Sales Skills**: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with the ability to meet sales targets.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and work as part of a team.
- **Time Management**: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Understanding of pharmaceutical products, medical terminologies, and the healthcare market.
- **Driving License**: A valid driver’s license (if applicable for the role).

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, especially in a specific therapeutic area (e.g., oncology, cardiology, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A strong interest in medical sciences and staying updated with the latest trends in the healthcare industry.
- Multilingual skills, particularly in regions with diverse languages.
