Tandoor Commie1

As a Tandoor Commi 1, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of tandoori dishes and other related tasks in the kitchen. You will work under the guidance of senior chefs to ensure that dishes are prepared and presented according to the restaurant's standards of quality and taste.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of marination and seasoning for tandoori dishes.
- Skewer and arrange meats, vegetables, and other items in the tandoor for cooking.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures in the tandoor to ensure proper doneness.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the tandoor area and kitchen.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate the timing of dishes.
- Assist in the preparation of sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments for tandoori dishes.
- Follow recipes and guidelines provided by senior chefs accurately.
- Handle and store ingredients properly, ensuring mínimal wastage.
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Learn and develop skills in preparing a variety of tandoori dishes.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Indian cuisine and tandoor cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy pots, pans, and trays.
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
