Accounting Assistant

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- **Accounting Entries and Invoices**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records by recording financial transactions promptly and accurately.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies, resolving them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- **Bank Coordination**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for banks and NBFCs, maintaining strong relationships and facilitating communication.
- Coordinate banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Assist in obtaining necessary financial documents and information from banks as required.
- **Financial Reporting Support**:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting activities as needed.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain organized and comprehensive documentation for all financial transactions and activities.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, invoicing, or finance-related roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in travel coordination and/or banking operations is a plus.
