Pipe Fabricator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pipe Fabrication**: Fabricate pipes by cutting, bending, and welding metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- **Assembly**: Assemble fabricated pipes and fittings by welding, brazing, soldering, and threading methods.
- **Measurement and Layout**: Accurately measure and layout piping systems using various tools such as tape measures, levels, and squares.
- **Material Handling**: Handle and transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- **Quality Assurance**: Inspect fabricated pipes and fittings for quality, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of fabrication activities, including material usage, work hours, and project progress.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other members of the construction team, including engineers, welders, and supervisors, to ensure project objectives are met safely and efficiently.
- **Safety**: Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the safe operation of tools and equipment.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in pipe fabrication or a related field.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification in welding or pipefitting is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in pipe fabrication techniques such as cutting, bending, welding, and threading. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring, cutting, and assembling piping systems.
- **Teamwork**: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- **Safety Consciousness**: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety regulations and procedures.
