**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Facility Maintenance Management**:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all maintenance activities for the branch facility, including building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of the facility and identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- **Team Leadership and Development**:
- Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Assign tasks, prioritize work orders, and monitor progress to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- **Vendor Management**:
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to procure materials, services, and equipment for maintenance projects.
- Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and ensure compliance with quality standards and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and evaluate service levels to ensure optimal value and customer satisfaction.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Enforce safety regulations and compliance standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
- Conduct safety training, inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations, codes, and best practices related to facility maintenance and environmental management.
- **Budget Management**:
- Develop and manage the branch maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking costs, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce operating expenses without compromising quality or safety.
- Prepare reports, financial analysis, and performance metrics to support decision-making and demonstrate ROI.
- **Emergency Response and Crisis Management**:
- Establish emergency protocols and response procedures to address maintenance emergencies, such as equipment failures, power outages, or natural disasters.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to mitigate risks, minimize disruptions, and ensure business continuity.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence and improve response capabilities.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or facility management, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and risk management practices.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally for training or meetings.
