**Position Overview**:
**Roles and Responsibilities of a Painter**

1. **Surface Preparation**:

- Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring they are free of dust, dirt, grease, and old paint.
- Mix paints, stains, and finishes according to specified standards and product requirements.

3. **Quality Control**:

- Examine finished surfaces for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Perform touch-ups and rework as necessary to achieve the desired finish and durability.

4. **Adherence to Safety Protocols**:

- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while handling paints and solvents.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety while working with chemicals and during spray operations.

5. **Maintenance of Equipment**:

- Maintain painting equipment, tools, and workspace in clean and safe conditions.
- Report any malfunctions or equipment issues promptly.

6. **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in managing inventory of paint supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Notify supervisors when supplies are low or when reordering is needed.

7. **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate painting schedules and project timelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers regarding project progress and any challenges encountered.

8. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including material usage, time spent, and any issues encountered.
- Prepare reports for supervisors on project milestones and material consumption.

9. **Training and Development**:

- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new techniques, materials, and safety practices in the paint industry.
- Mentor and train less experienced staff as needed.

10. **Customer Interaction**:

- Occasionally interact with customers to discuss specifications and preferences regarding paint jobs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship and responsiveness to feedback.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training with 02 years of experience in painting preferred.
- Good knowledge of Blasting.
- Proven experience as a painter in the industrial sector.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools and equipment.
- Airless and air paint sprayer guns as versatile painting experiences.
