**Job Description: Female Swimming Instructor**
**Location**: Crimson School, St. Michael's Campus

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and conduct swimming lessons for students, ensuring alignment with the school’s physical education goals.
- Teach and demonstrate proper swimming techniques, strokes, and water safety practices.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage skill development.
- Supervise students in the pool area to ensure safety and adherence to rules.
- Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, maintaining a high standard of pool safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the pool and surrounding areas in collaboration with the school facilities team.
- Promote a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to participate and improve.
- Coordinate with school staff to schedule swimming classes and ensure seamless integration into the overall curriculum.
- Organize swimming events or competitions to foster team spirit and showcase student progress.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Certification as a Swimming Instructor or equivalent professional training.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications.
- Proven experience in teaching swimming to children and young adults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
- Knowledge of pool safety protocols and regulations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to demonstrate swimming techniques effectively.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- A degree or diploma in Physical Education, Sports Sciences, or a related field is an advantage.
- Experience working in an educational or school setting.
- Creative and patient approach to teaching students with varying skill levels.
