**Job Description: Fitter - Mechanical**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation and Assembly**:

- Assemble and fit mechanical components and systems such as pumps, valves, motors, conveyors, etc.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute fitting tasks.
- Align and position parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- **Maintenance and Repairs**:

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Replace defective parts, machine components, and fixtures, ensuring proper functioning.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- **Inspection and Testing**:

- Inspect mechanical equipment to identify potential issues, wear, and tear.
- Conduct performance tests and check machinery for alignment, safety, and optimal operation.
- **Welding and Fabrication**:

- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks for repairs or installations when required.
- Ensure that all fabrication and installation work meets safety and quality standards.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies during installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a safe working environment.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including completed maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Report any major faults or breakdowns to supervisors and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Fitter Certification or equivalent.
- **Experience**: 2+ years of experience as an ITI Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred. Fresher also welcome, Training will be given.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in using mechanical tools, measuring instruments, and equipment.
- Knowledge of fitting techniques, mechanical systems, welding, and fabrication.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
