**Responsibilities**:
**LOCATION: B**angalore, India

**ONSITE**: This role requires the student to work from the Bangalore office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite.

**HYBRID**: This is a hybrid role (remote & in-office) requiring the student work from the Bangalore office approximately 2 days a week. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite/hybrid (not part time).

**PROGRAM TERM**:
List if this role is for Spring, Summer and/or Fall terms.

Include applicable dates for your term(s). 2023 dates are as follows:

- Summer: Start Date May 22, 2023, or June 5th - August 11, 2023
- Fall: Start Date August 14 or August 21, 2023 - December 15, 2023

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:

- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Physical Design
- Ownership of Physical implementation of various blocks from RTL to GDS2
- Responsible for timing and physical verification closure of design blocks and deliver to tapeout
- Work with leads and peers to understand design specification and complete the tasks within stipulated timelines

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Good understanding about basics of STA and Digital Design.
- Should have basic understanding of Physical design concepts like Physical Synthesis, Constraints validation, Floorplanning, Power planning, Scan Synthesis, Scan re-order, Static Timing analysis (STA), IR, EM, Noise, Physical Verification etc.
- Basic understanding of shell/perl scripting is a plus
- Should be a good team player, quick thinker, pro-active, adaptable & outspoken/approachable.
- Must communicate well both written and orally
- Must be well-organized and should be able to multitask well with due diligence on closing his/her tasks.
