Mechanical Fitter

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**
- **Perform preventive maintenance on all mechanical equipment.** This includes inspecting equipment, lubricating moving parts, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- **Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.** This includes identifying the source of the problem, repairing or replacing the damaged parts, and testing the equipment to ensure that it is operating properly.
- **Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.** This includes checking for leaks, loose bolts, and other potential problems.
- **Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.** This includes ordering new parts as needed, and ensuring that the inventory is organized and up-to-date.
- **Work with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the foundry.** This includes communicating with other departments about maintenance needs, and working together to resolve any problems that arise.
- Identifying and eliminating unnecessary maintenance costs.
- Following all safety procedures.

- Ensure the reliability and uptime of mechanical equipment.
- Optimize the efficiency of mechanical equipment.
- Reduce the cost of maintenance.
- Improve the safety of the workplace.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of operating Lathe and doing welding, for use in maintenance works.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
