Job DescriptionLocation: Bangalore/Pune (Hybrid)

Timings: General Shift - meetings in PST hours.

**Primary Skills**:Data Pulls, Data Analysis, Chart Creation (Adobe Analytics, Sales Force, PowerBI, Excel, Tableau)

**Experience Level**:

- 3-5 years experience with Data Analysis.
- This position will bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of measuring the effectiveness of nurturing marketing /- Es performances, and understanding user behaviors.
- Research new ways for modeling end-user behavior through quantitative analysis.
- Lead investigations into un-modeled data to answer decision-support questions.
- Minimum qualifications. MS degree in Computer Science or Analytics/Statistics.
- Experience with statistical software (R, S-Plus, SAS, or similar).
- Experience with databases and SQL language.Experience with traditional analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, SalesForce, PowerBI, Excel, Tableau or similar).3 year of relevant work experience (i.e., data scientist role), including deep expertise and experience with statistical data analysis such as linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling methods.
- Experience using technology to work efficiently with datasets such as scripting, data cleansing tools, and statistical software packages.
- Experience with big data and its tools (MapReduce, HQL, Splunk, Datameer, or similar).
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction.
- Demonstrated willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.

**Responsibilities would likely comprise**:

- Prepare and distribute standardized daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, verifying the ongoing validity of data sources, and consistency of computer-based information input, report formats, and underlying programming.
- Monitor a broad range of performance data, tracking data through various systems/ databases to ensure the availability of information required for future management needs. Periodically spot-check the accuracy/consistency of data generated, identifying as possible errors in raw data (and root causes of such) that could impact the validity of reports using the data.
- Maintain a historic repository of performance information, metrics history, data trending bases, etc. to accommodate client requests for performance comparisons. As required for comparison purposes, ensure data analysis including such historic information is appropriately annotated to reflect changes in definitions, data gathering processes, and data sources (including both systems and databases).
- Maintain an ongoing program of standard and ad hoc report process analysis, identifying procedural improvements, more efficient data gathering/summarization / analysis techniques, advances in data manipulation and report format generation processes, and general continuous process improvement for Metrics and Reporting.
- Periodically, design, develop and generate ad hoc reports in response to requests from management. Based upon evaluation of the client/interpretation of the client’s needs, define the primary function of the report, determine data requirements/data availability, appropriate data sources (as available from various internal operating systems and databases), appropriate data system, report format/ presentation, content, and data comparisons/summaries/ key indicators. As required, (and where such data is not presently available) arrange for appropriate departments/functions to initiate data collection/reporting.
