**Job Summary**:
The Internal Auditor specializing in Goods and Services Tax (GST), Income Tax, and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax-related processes within the organization. This role involves conducting audits, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations to mitigate tax risks and enhance tax efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct audits of GST, income tax, and TDS processes to assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Review financial transactions, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness in tax reporting.
- Analyze tax returns, ledgers, and other financial statements to identify discrepancies or potential tax liabilities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls related to tax compliance and recommend improvements as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards relevant to GST, income tax, and TDS.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and payments.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings, credits, or incentives and provide recommendations to optimize tax strategies.
- Assist in responding to tax audits, inquiries, and notices from tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Prepare reports summarizing audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken to address tax-related issues.
- Provide training and guidance to finance and accounting staff on tax compliance requirements and best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors, consultants, and auditors to leverage expertise and resources as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of tax-related software systems or tools to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in special projects or initiatives related to tax planning, restructuring, or acquisitions as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in tax compliance, preferably with specific expertise in GST, income tax, and TDS regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures related to GST, income tax, and TDS in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience conducting tax audits, risk assessments, and internal control evaluations.
- Proficiency in using tax software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in tax reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ethical conduct and integrity in handling sensitive tax information and maintaining confidentiality.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office-based environment with regular hours, but flexibility may be required to accommodate tax deadlines or special projects.
- Occasional travel may be necessary to conduct audits at different locations or attend meetings with tax authorities or external advisors.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
