Inventory Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and ensuring efficient inventory management. You will play a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of our supply chain and warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory items or materials
- Update inventory records, including item descriptions, quantities, and locations, in the inventory management system
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to identify shortages, excess stock, or potential issues
- Assist in the organization and labeling of inventory storage areas for easy retrieval and optimal space utilization
- Process inventory requests and fulfill orders in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of inventory items
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as purchasing, logistics, and finance, to resolve inventory-related issues
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory management best practices and systems

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus
- Proven experience in inventory control or related roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and counting inventory items
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems
- Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations and measurements accurately
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy inventory items, as needed

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
