Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Coordination:
- Assist the Director in leading and managing the Secondary School with a particular focus on
Grades 6-10.
- Attend weekly Secondary Leadership Meetings and bi-weekly SELT meetings.
- Lead and manage the Grades 6-10 program of study, ensuring it aligns with the CAIE
standards and the school’s Mission and Vision.
- Oversee the Middle Years Programme and ensure delivery of Quality results in Checkpoints
and IGCSE Examinations
- Ensure that best practices in teaching and learning are maintained across the school.
Pedagogical Leadership:
- Serve as the pedagogical leader for Grades 6-10, ensuring that the curriculum meets
international standards and best practices.
- Mentor teachers and demonstrate effective inquiry-based teaching practices.
- Lead professional development sessions and support faculty in enhancing their instructional
methods.
- Oversee curriculum review and support the development of a well-articulated curriculum
across the school.
- Assist teachers in developing assessment tools aligned with the school’s assessment policy.
- Ensure consistency in curriculum planning, teaching, and assessment from Grade 6 to Grade
10, aligning with the Primary Years programme and AS & A Levels Programme.
- Facilitate collaborative planning and curriculum development, ensuring coherence in the
teaching of CAIE and Approaches to Learning Skills (ATL skills).
Student Support:
- Provide guidance and support to students through effective communication between school
and home.
- Work closely with the Director of Student Support to ensure the learning needs of students
are met by utilizing appropriate teaching strategies.
- Advise students and parents on pathways through the IGCSE, into the AS, and A Levels.
Job Title: Coordinator
Professional Development:
- Chair regular IGCSE team meetings across different levels within the school.
- Develop and deliver IGCSE information workshops for staff.
- Identify professional development needs and opportunities, both on-campus and
off-campus, for IGCSE faculty.
- Coordinate orientation sessions for new staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to teach the
IGCSE.
- Assess and coordinate IGCSE teacher participation in relevant workshops and training
sessions.
Communication and Outreach:
- Act as the spokesperson for the IGCSE (Grades 6-10), ensuring the program has a strong
presence within the school and the broader community.
- Engage with all stakeholders, including students, teachers, and parents, to support IGCSE
students effectively.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for CAIE and accreditation processes.
- Serve as the liaison between the school and the CAIE regarding the IGCSE consultation,
authorization, and administration processes.
- Provide content for school blogs, newsletters, and other communication platforms.
- Ensure that student records are maintained and meet all necessary requirements.
- Meet with prospective students and parents to discuss the IGCSE as part of the admissions
process.
- Extensive experience in teaching CAIE Check Point Examinations and IGCSE.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel/Google Sheets, and digital education platforms.
- Highly organized with strong communication, analytical, and planning skills.
- Ability to lead professional development and guide curriculum implementation.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
